The course aims to improve participant’s:

  • Knowledge: Identify the fundamentals of IoT, machine learning, AI, and digital tools for agricultural applications.
  • Comprehension: Understand how IoT devices, sensors, and AI can enhance data collection and decision-making in agriculture.
  • Application: the practical use of IoT, sensors, and AI through examples in farming and beekeeping contexts.
  • Evaluation: Critically assess the adoption of digital tools by farmers and their socio-economic implications, comparing them with traditional knowledge and practices.

The course aims to improve participant’s:

  • Knowledge: key digital tools and concepts in agricultural research, including AI, GIS, and drones.
  • Comprehension: the principles and applications of digitalization and its impact on rural development.
  • Application: possible applications of digital tools and methodologies for data collection, analysis, and mapping in agricultural contexts.
  • Evaluation: Critically assess the adoption, socio-economic impacts, and ethical considerations of digitalization in agriculture.
